Aims:
The main aim of our project is to support the education for Environmental Sustainability.
The specific aims of it are: To increase the students’ knowledge and awareness about the importance of potable water resources. To help students develop ideas for the conservation of potable water resources locally, nationally and globally. To increase their knowledge and awareness about the importance of reducing unnecessary water consumption. To compare teaching curriculums between the partner organizations about the protection, remediation and prevention of further destruction of potable water resources and to integrate these into their current curriculums by examining interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches . To increase institutional capacities on environmental education among partner organizations and develop transnational cooperation and networks. To help students find digital solutions to the problems of pollution of clean water resources. To help them produce project-based solutions to prevent the unconscious usage of potable water ecosystems. To improve the quality of environmental sustainability education among the partner organizations. To develop students’ problem-based, analytical, algorithmic thinking and digital skills in environmental education. To support the cultural interaction, multilingualism and tolerance between studens by means of writing an educational story book as a joint work. To express the vision of being a citizen of the European Union. To write a game with at least 4 levels on the protection of the aquatic ecosystem by teaching coding. Learning Outcomes of the Project:To learn multidisciplinary educational approaches in environmental education. To Support students for taking responsibility and practical works for the protection of potable water resources by writing environmental education storybook. To encourage the cultural exchange and tolerance, EU culture vision, language learning and multilingualism. To create a real will to work together about climate change. To have a Code education at an early age, analytical and algorithmic thinking. To create projects that produce digital solutions to environmental problems.
Concrete Outputs of the Project:
A storybook created by all partners with their own language and culture will be printed as a handbook and digitally. Our book will be written in each partners’ own language (with English translation), include their own cultural motifs and their own drinkable water eco systems by using visuals and it make students’ increase their willingness to take responsibility for the protection of clean water eco-systems in a way that will entertain and teach.
An educational game with at least 4 levels on the protection of clean water ecosystems by giving coding training with a workshop in our project
Considering the aims, activities and methods of our project, it will contribute to the horizontal priority of challenging climate change
